I bought a Bramble Berry lotion bar making kit for DIY Christmas presents. This is what happened.
I chose lotion for my grandfather and everyone else had to get it, too. I bought it because I liked the bee on top.
The box came with 12 containers with stickers, a 6 shape mold, Shea butter, olive oil, bees wax and fragrance.
One container had a little dent in the top. And I didn't use the stickers because I didn't like them very much.
Mommy helped me follow the recipe carefully, and we had enough supplies leftover for two extra bars.
Mommy wished the instructions had recommended a disposable microwave safe bowl because her glass measuring cup was very hard to clean, and the oil is bad for the sink.
We had to make two batches over three-four days to give the lotion bars time to cool. So if you want to make this with friends for a party, you might have to buy an extra mold or something.
I kept my lotion bars in the fridge until Christmas Eve, and they were very popular. I might buy the set again, and I'd like to try something new, too.
