I used landmark flashcards to make the Lego Landmark Challenge. I learned a few things about making these builds.

  1. The Lego challenges don’t need to come from an expensive kit
  2. You don't need to use flashcards because you can look up pictures on the internet.
  3. You can improvise with pieces If you don't have exactly the piece you want.
  4. You can take bricks or other Legos from kits you may already have.
  5. You do not have to visit these places to build the Landmark. However, it makes visiting them more fun.
  6. And you don't have to use the exact same color. (It’s hard to find Legos the green color of Lady Liberty.).

I enjoyed learning about the landmarks. For example, France shipped the Statue of Liberty to New York in pieces. Another example is the Eiffel Tower was yellow and red before its current color.

You don’t have to think of the inspiration. An internet search will help. You’ll get to know your landmarks better.
