Hi friends! Today I’m quickly sharing a project I made long ago. And we’ve been enjoying it ever since, a scrap map of the USA! This project is a great way to use up scraps or gives an opportunity to buy some super cool ones from Fabscrap!

This one by See Kate Sew is probably closest to the method I used (I made up my own as I went along). I also found this one by The Little Green Bean which tells how to use a Cricut or other cutting machine.
I traced a dry erase map (similar to this one, but the one we have is not available anymore) using tracing paper, cut all my states out by hand, pinned them all in place, and hand stitched them to the backing. I used a rescued pillowcase as the backing.
Run with your imagination and make this project super cool!
