# How To Repurpose Old Card Fronts

Give cards a new life!

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing an idea for repurposing the fronts of old greeting cards.

Whenever someone gives us a card (thank you, birthday, etc.) that we really like, we cut right on the fold line and save the front! We recently came across quite a few of these that we've accumulated over the years, and I decided to make some repurposed cards out of them!

###### You'll only need some simple tools:

- Scissors
- Glue stick, liquid glue, or double-sided tape
- Ruler
- A pencil (for drawing out your cut lines) and a pen (for writing on the back if you want)
- Blank colored cardstock, like 12x12 scrapbook paper

###### To make the cards:

Cut a piece of scrapbook paper the 2x size of your card. I like to lay my card down, trace all sides of it except the side that it will be folded on, then either use my ruler or move the card up and trace to get the other side of the card.

Cut that out. Then fold it in half.

Glue the old card front to the front of the new card.

Lay under a book to make sure it dries flat. Trim any edges that need trimming.

I like to write "Repurposed With Love" on the back of mine.
