Bottom line: Convenient little walking, expensive, and traffic can be unpredictable.

Time: 47 minutes
Price: ~$3 per person
Fun: Riding trains is fun, people watching. Walk 14 minutes from the station.
Bottom line: The Yellow Line to the 59th Street Subway Stop seems to be the simplest subway option. Maps says Fabscrap is a 14 minute walk from the subway.

NYC Ferry

Time: 15 minute Ferry Ride + 30 minutes of Subway or other transit from Times Square
Price: $4/person (cheaper if you buy 10 tickets)
Fun: A boat ride where you see the Statue of Liberty, Governor’s Island, Manhattan Skyline. 
Bottom line: Maybe a bit more complicated, but the maximum fun.

  • Children under 44 inches ride free with their adult. 
  • If you don’t buy tickets on the app, arrive with enough moments to figure out how to use the ticket vending machine. 
  • If there are several in your group, the 10 pack of tickets is cheaper per ticket.
  • There are 2 Ferry Routes that stop at the Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT)

To Fabscrap from Manhattan use:

  • South Brooklyn Route direction Bay Ridge (More stops)
  • Rockaway Route direction Rockaway (Fastest)

To Manhattan from Fabscrap use:

  • South Brooklyn Route direction Corlears Hook
  • Rockaway Route direction Wall Street (Fastest)
